Yesterday someone tells me "If you have a craving for anything, or smell something you want to eat, be sure to tell Super S to get it for you. Because if you don't eat it and then you scratch yourself, the mark will come out in the same place you scratched but on your baby...."
WTF?
Oh yes its true people. They told me of three people this happen to. All three had babies with marks in the same places their mothers scratched and did not eat what they craved! Ok then...
Today is 9 weeks, just 4 days until ultrasound.
Weird. And almost worth trying just to find out if there's any thruth behind it :)
ReplyDeleteCircus Princess, I am gonna pass on that one, don't want no marks on ma baybays. LOL
ReplyDeleteum...weird. SO you either have to be big as a house, wear mittens or go stark raving mad from not scratching? LOL!
ReplyDeleteHey- are you going to find out the sexes of the babies? Just curious- you have said before, but I can't remember. :)
Hmmmmmm....I've heard some odd things but that's a new one! My baby could come out looking all kind of weird then...I can't remember what I do from minute to minute these days, muchless whether or not I've scratched somewhere before I ate something I was craving!! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteHope the next 4 days fly by for you!! Hugs! xoxoxo
Ohhh the old tales...don't you just love them? I suggest you scratch on your head at least the mark won't be visible under the hair! :o)
ReplyDeleteMuch love and can't wait to hear about the next scan (ask how the babies measure!)

I call BULL $HIT! hehe
ReplyDeleteEat up then! Hey, it's for the baybee!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute wives tale! Gotta Love them!
ReplyDeletehaha.. a girl at work also told me this last week! She said it was a Greek thing. I have been doing lots of scratching-i'm always itchy :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat? I don't remember where I scratch so how would I know?
ReplyDeleteI'd get to eating then!
I have never heard of that...
ReplyDeleteThat is really, really weird.
ReplyDeleteI break out in hives at the slightest provocation, so I have no idea how I would remember which scratch was the one in response to a craving! Old wives' tales are so entertaining - and I'm sure they're even better there! Aren't the Egyptians a bit on the superstitious side?
ReplyDeleteThose old wives are trying to scare you with their tales.
ReplyDeleteI have to say though that eating whatever you crave is a very good idea!!!!
I hope your u/s goes well and you see two beautiful heartbeats. And don't scratch yourself too much!
