tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276485842024-03-08T06:03:45.670+02:00Wishing4OneHappily married for almost 13 years. First and only pregnancy Jan 06, was tubal (6 weeks). Started IVF May 06, failed. Two more IVF trials and 4 transfers later all failed. So we're tryin' again... 5 is a charm- no it failed too, chemical pregnancy. We tried a 6th FET hoping it was "the charm", it wasn't, NEGATIVE on 12-23-08. Doctor thought a good idea to remove my one remaining fallopian tube, had it ligated January 2009. Currently doing our 7th FET, hoping that as tube issue is gone this will be the one. This blog was started as my IVF journey, but it’s outta control…so along with my IVF stories expect to read almost anything. Oh yeah I tried teaching Kindergarten here, it too didn't work.Wishing 4 Onehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13569405415176468436noreply@blogger.comBlogger509125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27648584.post-50749642604112353272012-07-30T17:30:00.000+02:002012-07-30T17:30:24.016+02:00Characteristics of a Superbaby<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I wanted to share with you some funny and unique things about Superbaby. He is a trip man and I will look back at this and laugh, so will he I think. He is beyond amazing and so much fun. Each day he is different and I so look forward to the days ahead. Have I told you yet that we are in complete love with him? Just a little bit....</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1. His favorite number is 8. This is the number he says when you ask him "What is your favorite number?" He says "cinco, seis and ocho" too. (Thanks Dora)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2. His favorite food is moulekheya. A purely Egyptian food. He loves it! Its kinda of like a slimy spinach soup type dish. Yeah slimy. I know, but it is so good!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3. He hates for his hands to be dirty or have anything on them. Thanks to me always wiping him, he now holds his hands up whenever he gets anything on them. I really love this. I sometimes have to tell him go ahead and eat I will wipe your hands after. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
4. He calls BF "madoo". Don't know where he got this word, but he is a "madoo-er", man oh man is he ever. I have started telling him I am sending the madoo on an airplane soon and that he's a big boy and he will have to drink milk and juice when the madoo goes bye bye. Juice he drinks alittle occassionally but milk, not at all. So when you ask him what will he drink when the madoo goes bye bye, he says milk, and juice. I hope he will.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
5. Favorite snack foods- pretzels, apples and raisins. He's a good eater but not quantity wise. He eats too little I think maybe. But he's healthy and thats all that matters to me. His build will be like his Dad, tall and slender. Not an ounce of fat on him and Super S is the same.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
6. He has a funny walk he does when you ask him to do your funny walk. He started this walk just around the time he turned one. He sticks his hips forward and leans back alittle, its hillarious!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
7. He hates baths. Those of you who have been reading awhile, yes he still hates em. Likes water though, just not baths. I bathe him in the sink still but he will go in his pool, in the Red Sea, go figure.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
8. Loves Crocs! He has way too many shoes (taking after me) but these days its Crocs and maybe his Keen's but nothing else.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
9. He always wears pants. Wore shorts just a few times. Again I have alot of super cute shorts for him, but he's not into shorts I guess. Even inside, now in summer, it's always pants.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
10. Dora the Explorer is the love of his life, after me of course. Loves, loves loves Dora and Boots. He would watch all day long if I let him. He has has learned alot from her though I must admit. He was on a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse kick for awhile, now its Dora. I download and he watches on his little player. Does not like any of the kids movies. Seems he only enjoys shows that he can learn from. Maybe due to interaction in the learning type shows? Whatever the reason its great.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
11. He has still never slept in his bed, not once. Sleeps with us. I plan to move him to his bed after I wean him.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
12. His drink of choice is water. Loves it and says "awaa" for water.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
13. He has alittle walk he does, galloping like a horse kind of, its really cute.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
14. Loves music. Dances all the time. Even to commercial jingles!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
15. Loves saying "hey" and then waits for you to answer back "hey".</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
16. Has started saying "Thank You" real fast which sounds like "tee tee" whenever you give him something- too cute!<br />
<br />
17. He used to tell me when he had poop. Now he hides it, HATES being changed and HATES getting dressed. Its an ordeal everyday. I thought he may be ready to try potty training again, (we tried very briefly a few months back) but it seems maybe not? Anyway I plan to start trying again soon. I can just see him still in diapers and BF'ing when he's ready to start school. So kidding! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />18. Loves reading. Knows all his animals, some colors, some numbers and is beginning to learn opposites now. Can say "happy" and make face and "sad" and makes the funniest face! Sometimes he just blurts out "happy" during the day. I ask him "are you happy?" His says "uhmm" which is his yes.<br />
<br />
19. He says "careful" alot. Probably due to the fact that I say it to him 100 plus times daily.<br />
<br />
20. He loves to pick pictures of food from books and eat them. He acts like he's chewing them and says "eat" and then "hmmm" like they are so good. <br />
<br />
So many, many more things but these are just a few to share with you what a funny and smart little man we have here. We'll keep him.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hey. Hi. Miss me? I've missed blogging so much but really have literally not had the time, nor energy to log on to write anything. Sucks I know, and many new Moms who blog fall into this problem, but I wanted so not to be one of them. Oh well.<br />
<br />
All is good here in the land of the Pharaohs. Yup still in Cairo. Been back to the States since I last checked in, did major shopping and we're back. I will have to share </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
the story of how Superbaby did on the LONG flight, man I was so nervous, was way over prepared and for nothing. This boy is a travelin' little man I tell you, sooooo good!<br />
<br />
Superbaby is beyond amazing, super, super smart and so much fun. Still breastfeeding like a champ. Plan to wean by October, he'll be two then, God Willing. But it will be <strike>hell</strike> <strike>impossible</strike> hard to break him. I haven't started anything yet, no cutting down, no skipping feedings, changing BF times nada. I know I will have to start soon and have been reading lots of different ideas from BF moms. This will be fun.<br />
<br />
He is talking alot, understands everything and putting two and three words together now. He walks up and down our stairs alone, if we don't catch him that is, which we ALWAYS do, but is really showing his independent little self. His sense of humor is amazing and he is awesome with other kids. He is so loving and continues to inspire us every day.<br />
<br />
You know since Superbaby was born, he has not been one day without me. Not once. I have not had alot of breaks, Super S is awesome with him and does give me the occassional break, but man he is stuck to me. He is definitely Mommy's boy and I love it! I am fortunate and grateful that I am not working and can be with him all the time. I can't imagine it any other way.<br />
<br />
I am thinking about trying him in a preschool here when he's three maybe. He really is smart and does well around other kids when we are at the playground and out and about so it may be good for him. We'll see how things go in a year or so. Then the task of finding a good English speaking school begins. There are MANY here but which one, I guess when the time comes I will be visiting alot of them.<br />
<br />
Egypt, oh Egypt. We have a new president now, as I'm sure most of you know. He does not seem to be a fanatic like some Western media outlets are portraying him, rather he seems to very humble and reasonable. He has promised lots of change and I think he will really try to implement it. Problem is I think it will take decades for alot of change to be seen. Many people here possess a certain mindset that will be very hard to break. I will not go into detail, cause well its boring really, but suffice to say the people here lived under extreme corruption and craziness for so long, they need to un-learn alot of ways/things. Just my opinion.<br />
<br />
So, the plan is to start blogging again. I miss it. Main thing is I love that I can share our miracle with so many people. <br />
<br />
Peace and love.</div>

</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Superbaby will be 15 months old in a few days and I can't believe it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
No apologies for not posting for a few months, I have no excuse other than this crazy active little boy taking ALL my time. I am enjoying every single moment too.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We are now in Dahab our favorite place on the Red Sea. Been here a week now and looks like we will stay another. This time we are in a beautiful chalet right on the water. Two bedrooms, a living roon, open kitchen lots of room for Superbaby to run around. We wake up to the Red Sea waves crashing and the view out the window is amazing. Superbaby is crazy happy and enjoying himself so much. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I think this boy will have all his teeth before he's two. The upper and lower canines are coming in now and he'll only have 4 more to go the top and bottom secomd molars, to have his full 20! He was very early with teeth though and teething now is not bad like it was for him earlier on thank God.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Still breastfeeding. He loves the noms noms man. I cannot imagine him weaning himself and am scared shitless as to how I will wean him. I know it may/can change but as of now I am thinking he would nurse forever.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He is a little guy now, very slender. He fits alot of pants that are less than his age which is cool because I have alot and they will last him longer I guess.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Superbaby loves music and dances his little ass off man. He adores Pink Floyd and Flamenco the most thanks to Super S. But any music really he hears he gets down wherever we are.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I miss reading my blog list though. I think some people had babies and are pregnant and I just wish I could find out more and congratulate. If you are of them consider yourself hugged. If you are still waiting an even bigger hug I'm sending to you.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Let's see when I check next time, who knows...</div>

Man am i bad, I have not been here since August! I always said I was going to maintain this blog after Superbaby arrived, and I did for awhile, but as you see I slacked big time. I will post as often as I can get around to and will not delete or dis this blog completely, ever. Thats a promise.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So Superbaby will turn a year old next week and um, where did the time go? He is soooo amazing man, no words can describe how unbelievable he is. He started walking yesterday, it was so cool and I got those first on steps on video believe it or not. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He is so beautiful, I mean really beautiful. I look at him and think of all the time, money, tears, sadness and failure we endured and am so grateful that we stuck it out and he came to us. It was all beyond worth it, every single second man.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Superbaby has 4 teeth on top and 4 on bottom with a possible additional two coming in on bottom I think. He understands so much. I mean things I have not repeatedly went over with him, he knows. Like yesterday I asked him to put the car on top of the box, he did it. So the concept of on top he got! Alot of little things like that, things I think he doesn't know or will understand, he does. He knows and points to where are your ears, tummy, opens his mouth for teeth, knows our names, the moon, chair, places in the house, his toys... I could go on and on. It's so cool, its like he's becoming a little boy, I mean a real big little boy LOL!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
His personality is so cute. I mean this boy is going to be funny and sweet. He is a character already and I can see him in the future being even more so.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My Mom is here for the month with us and so happy she witnessed Superbaby's first steps. For the past few months we kept thinking this is it, he is going to let go of that couch, chair whatever and walk, but nope, he waited until yesterday. Good boy, what a great present for Oma!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Oh and along with Oma came many, many great things for Superbaby. Tons of shoes I ordered online and clothes, he is so set for the next three years (thanks GP). My Mom says he is the best dressed kid in Cairo and has a better wardrobe and more shoes than all of us combined, LOL! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Next week we are throwing Superbaby a little super birthday party. Not too big, some of Super S's family and a few close friends. My Mom brought the cutest 1st birthday decorations from Party City with her so its going to look so cute! Now just trying to decide on a cake to order. They have really super cute cakes here you can order but they look small, so not sure yet what we will get. The larger sheet size cakes don't come in as cute of a design as the smaller cakes so not sure yet. Maybe order a really cute smaller one along with a sheet size? Anyway whatever I decide it will be cute though.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Its almost 1am here and time for me to hit it. I feel good posting this and plan to update again regularly, God Willing. Still not blog reading, but plan to work that back into the plan as well. I miss you all and will never forget any of you, or your kindness and support you have given over the years. Thank you and good night. - end of speech-</div>

Superbaby is 39 weeks old and a couple days today. Hard to believe that this little miracle of ours is going to be 9 months old next week!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
About two weeks ago he started HATING having his diaper and clothes changed. I mean like a tantrum kind of hate. Its not every time, but at least twice a day I have to fight him to do it. WTF? Is it his "personality" coming out? Is it that he getting more independant, or wants to be? Did this happen to you? What did you do?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Four teeth coming in on the top, could be teething moodiness, although he seems to be doing ok with his teeth. I don't know.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We call him little monkey cause this boy climbs everything! When he's sitting up and then pulls himself up onto something he sits back down on floor. Like he is trying to getting down smooth, too cute. He is balancing himself well too, sticking an arm out once in awhile, walking is on the way huh?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway just a quick update and please if this diaper/clothes thing happen to you , help me out...</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Peace & love...</div>

So relaxing man!<br />
<br />
Superbaby took his first dip in the Red Sea and really liked it. I was surprised as he usually does not like bath time, but I think this trip cured him entirely of that. Came home bathed without fuss, yeah! We hope he will be a little fish as we love water so much and want him to enjoy it too. He's off to a good start I guess.<br />
<br />
What a difference 10 days makes. I mean Superbaby REALLY changed alot in those 10 days and we are amazed. I mean he changes so much at this age each week, but this time we really saw alot of new things. On our 15th anniversary he crawled on his knees. Then a few days later he was standing himself up against anything he could find. This boy wants to walk! I think he will be an early walker.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
He has four teeth coming in on the top, two front and the two next to them. He is teething au naturel, we are not giving him anything and he's doing ok. Fussy some days more than other, but all in all he's good.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
He is making tons of noises. He screams, not screams, but growls I guess, to get our attention. He still grunts when eating sometimes and is a total trip! His personality is coming out more and more every day. We are in for some real fun with this little man.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
Food. No problems here.at.all. He likes everything I give him and I've been letting him taste little bites of many things. Thing is, is he getting enough? He still BF's on demand and eats when we do. He eats veggies and fruits mostly with a few tiny spoons of our food sometimes to taste. He seems to be gaining weight and is growing so I think we're all good. I read so many different feeding scenarios online and all babie are different, so I think I will wait until later this month when we take him to doctor for polio booster and see his weight.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
Hey what about dry skin on his scalp, cradle cap? He still has a bunch on top and it seems like it doesn't want to go away. It doesn't look too bad but how do i get it get it off? There is only a small part still flaking but the rest is not flaking anymore, but still there???<br />
<br />
Other than that we are still so unbelievgably grateful that he's here and that will never go away. What an amazing gift this happy little boy is. He's a keeper.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

Um, where has the time went? I bet it just keeps passing faster as he gets older too huh?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Alot changes in a week. I remember my last post about him, and this week he is doing so many more things. He is now semi-crawling. Still moves in all directions on his tummy, but using his feet to push more instead of just reaching and pulling himself with his hands. He can also now move on tile, where as before he would just tap it with his hands and wonder why he couldn't grab it, LoL.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Yesterday while we were playing on the bed, he grabbed my legs as I was laying down and pulled himself up to standing! He also raised his tummy alittle bit and crawled on his knees for a few seconds. Yeah! Then tonight he pulled himself to standing, bent over a bit, but standing four times holding his Bumbo chair (while I held it down from the back). This boy wants to walk! Whenever I hold him now he is squirming to get down to the floor, like he's just going to run away.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So when he starts crawling more, I'm gonna go crazy. We have all marble floors, and do have throw carpets in rooms so I am so scared he will bang his face or head. We also a bunch of stairs, we found a stair gate here thank God and will purchase soon. I have this same fear for when he starts to walk as well. Any good advice in addition to NEVER taking my eye off of him of course?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He is finally starting to like some chunky food, but I noticed with dry things only. Like when I make his veggies, he still seems to like them smooth and pureed. But now he wants to try everything he sees us eating and I let him most times. If its not too spicy I brake off a tiny piece and let him taste it. He really seems to dig bread. We eat a lot of pita bread, especially at breakfast and he loves it! I did only give him a small piece a few times and did make it soft before putting into his mouth too. Probably didn't need to, but I still am scared of choking.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He is a lot more vocal too. Like is he trying to talk to us. When I ask him things he makes like a hmmmm sound, and says dada alot. Like I said before maybe Daddy will be his first word and Super S is thrilled, me too. He's such and AMAZING Daddy, exactly as I knew he would be.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I think Superbaby will be built like his Daddy. He has no tummy now and a very slender build with a long torso, like Super S. It may change I know, but I think he will may have that good metabolism being able to eat anyand everything and not gain a pound. Now me on the other hand... </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">His personality is what makes him so amazing. We see it now, he is gonna be a trip and is so funny. He loves people and is friendly and always has a smile. He is such a happy little man, we love it!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">His top two teeth are coming in now. He has his bottom two. He has started biting my shoulder when I carry him, and man are those suckers sharp! Then last night for the first time he bit me while I was feeding him. I screamed and he looked at me, paused a minute then smiled and laughed. What is the best way to handle this? I read put my finger in his mouth to release? While nursing it shouldn't happen and doesn't, I mean he bit when he was letting go.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Tonight we watched the lunar eclispe from our telescope on the roof, it was amazing. A bunch of friends came over and they enjoyed watching it so much. I didn't take Superbaby to the roof as I am scared of mosquitos for him. I took him to one of the windows though, showed him the moon and told him what was happening. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

<br />
Made squash for Superbaby, he LOVES it! Still liking smooth pureed foods so far, tried alittle chunky not having it, yet.<br />
<br />
Talking like crazy, his first word will be Daddy I think.<br />
<br />
Almost sitting without falling forward. Standing up from sitting position very well and often now. Seems he wants to just take off.<br />
<br />
Two bottom teeth in. Teething seems to be better now. How long before the top two come in?<br />
<br />
Looks like his eyes will not be all green, but a light hazel maybe? We'll see. Could be green hazel? Or maybe green still? Should know in next few months huh?<br />
<br />
Still co-sleeping. The crib is just for show and the occasional nap. Been thinking about trying to put him in Pack N Play at end of our bed at night, not sure though. If we don't transition him soon, its going to be very hard, I know.<br />
<br />
Can babies eat watermelon? <br />
<br />
What foods cause constipation? Rice, potatoes, peas- yes/no? What else?<br />
<br />
He grunts alot while eating. No its not reflux, just noises, its weird man. But cute too.<br />
<br />
Yeah! Got some takers on my cute bay of the week idea. See cute baby Adam? He is Lynne's baby born in England in January of this year. If your kids are not babies anymore, you can still submit their baby pictures (waiting for you Kristin). <br />
<br />
Super S had Superbaby listening to and watching Pink Floyd videos today. It was Floyd partyy minus the party favors. He really seemed to like those crazy videos too. Too funny! His music introduction thus far: jazz, flamenco and Floyd!</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

Its a great excuse to update my blog more often and I think it'll be fun featuring cute babies each week.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So here's what to do...</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Send me an <a href="mailto:wishing4one@gmail.com">email</a> and include your photo and baby's name.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I will choose a new photo every Sunday starting this Sunday, June 5th. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">( Of course it was only appropriate to feature my little man as the first ).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
I hope you'll participate and even if you are still waiting for YOUR baby, you can send in your niece, nephew, whoever. You know I can't leave my sistas out. wink wink. And yes, furbabies count too!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
What do you win? Nothing. Well a little something. I will send you html so you can post a button on your blog, if you have one, that says your baby was Cute Baby of the Week here. Have to work on creating it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Think of it this way, your cute baby gets free publicity and I have alot of readers man. And of course we all get to admire the cuteness.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I will also work on better framing so when your baby is featured it'll look better than it does now, my first attempt at making a frame.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
Is this a little corny, yeah maybe. But I think it'll be fun, why not? Spread the word too.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Last week he had a slight fever, for three days. I gave him some Tylenol, it wasn't getting better. Took him to doctor, he prescribed a liquid that was a combination of Paracetamol and Ibuprofen. Gave it it Superbaby once and the fever was gone. But...</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">His temperature went down low at night for like two days, 95-97 and he had what appeared to be a light rash of some sort. He was waking up at night crying, not usual for him at all. This was all for about two days after giving him Paracetamol/Ibuprofen drops. Was if caused by the medicine? Coincidence? Teething? I don't know.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">All of this is gone now. No rash, no low temps at night, not waking up fussing, all better now and back to his fussy teething regular self.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We gave him his first "biscuit" yesterday (we actually call them cookies). The kind that are ok for babies, they melt in their mouth, he loved it! He ate half and made such a mess! But he grabbed it and held it in his hand, it was so cool.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He is almost sitting alone. He sits up and I watch him. But he does have control and I can leave him as long as I am next to him. He seems to love to stand up though. When I pick him up off the floor, he puts his feet on the floor and I pull him up to a standing position. His legs are strong and he holds them straight without shaking or buckling. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Still not crawling, but is scooting backwards on his tummy. He can turn around in all directions on his tummy as well too. But when he's on his tummy and wants to move forward, his arms and legs are going but he's not moving. He gets frustrated and starts fussing. Who knows, maybe he will skip crawling and just walk.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He's eating fruits and vegetables I make for him. I try to give him these solids to every two breast feedings. So he nurses twice, then I give him solids. He rarely finishes a whole portion, but I think he is satisfied and gaining, so its all good. I did buy some fruits by a compnay named Hero out of Spain. They are yummy man. I have them so if we are on the go they are convenient. The ingredients are all natural and they taste really good too. Veggies I do myself as well as some fruits. Yesterday I made peas, carrots, a dash of rice, half a potato and just a tad of salt, he loves it! We have not tried any chicken or meats yet, doctor here recommended to not start meat until after one year. What have you done? Friends of mine did puree meat/chicken and start at about 7 months, not sure if I will or not.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">How often and how much were you feeding your baby at 7 months. I know all babies are different. I have read such different quantities and timings, just curious what you all did.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Superbaby has been sleeping on his right side for while now. Lately I noticed he turns and sleeps on his tummy now sometimes. Is this okay? I think back to worrying about SIDS when he was smaller and not sure if this is ok now or not? I turn him over when I see him on his tummy and put him on his back or side.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">His personality is really developing. He is a trip man. We laugh so much with him and he is going to be a funny little man I see it now. When he cries sometimes and I know he's faking it, just fussing, I sing him the faker pumpkin maker song, he laughs and goes right to playing.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We hold him alot. I mean alot. We've done this since he was a baby. We know what we got ourselves into and we're cool with it. But lately we've been trying to give him some alone/down time so he can enjoy tummy time and explore some new movements. Some friends have told us we hold him too much and we're like yeah whatever. Its our choice and whatever comes out of it we will deal with it. He is so content, very happy, and a really great little guy. You can tell he knows that all this love has been saved up for so long just for him.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Peace, love and that half smile below. Priceless!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOVQyL6WVxg4cffq-NOLRqkNqmD-TYIE5QCX4s7iEhxMwknXclbuKsyHVacfA2p0vaHEbxzuR5VsaWM1KeaJuXY1LimvpUFApY9kw6tZywu4BaguC-VZIiTfU1qbmfuuLROftv/s320/superbaby.jpg" width="320" /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Its been ok until a few days ago. Superbaby's bottom two teeth are almost all the way in and maybe at this point the teething gets worse?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Three days ago we took him to the doctor as he had a mild fever for three days and I wanted to be sure all was ok. It was. Doctor prescribed some paracetamol baby drops, fever gone. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Then yesterday he did not want to eat. Not breastmilk, or his fruits. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He's been really fussy too. Would not sleep yesterday night and then today woke up at 3:15am and just back to sleep now around 5am. I feel so bad cause he's so fussy and I bet so uncomfortable. Its funny somtimes he laughs and then cries right away. Then he cries and starts laughing, he's so moody. I read this can and does happen alot to babies while teething.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I just said to Super S the other day "this is not so bad, he's been awesome through teething..." haaa!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So he turned 7 months this weekend and he is really growing. He is so damn cute and we just can't get enough of him, teething and all. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Well i better get back to bed too. I suck at blogging I know. I always think of things I want to share with you, its just when he does nap I have so many other things to get done.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I'm telling you I look at this little boy every day and am so thankful, so freakin' thankful for him. It was a long road and so hard but man, I would so do it all over again for him.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Tonight Superbaby did the cutest thing, he grabbed my chin and pulled me towards him, as if to say "look at me." </div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">He is almost sitting up alone, not quite but he wants to. I play a game with him now, when he's sitting down I count 1, 2, 3 and then with me holding his arms he stands up. Its so cute as he looks at my mouth when I count, like he's getting ready. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">His two bottom teeth are almost all the way in. They are sharp as hell too. He's been fussy but not too bad really. Thank you Oragel. <br />
<br />
You know, I am still so attached to IF. Attached to the struggles, the 2 week waits, the BFP's and BFN's, ultrasounds, crys, joys all of the fun stuff that IF brings us. There is never a moment that I forget that is me too, never.<br />
<br />
Yes we have our son, thank God, our miracle and I am enjoying being a mom finally, but infertilty is something that will never leave me, it will never let me forget. I'm grateful. Thanks bitch.<br />
<br />
And you know what I'm glad. Yep. I am glad that we had to struggle so hard to get what some people get easy. But at the same time I am also happy for those lucky people who have sex, get pregnant and its not a struggle. Really.<br />
<br />
Just yesterday I said to Super S that we are lucky to have done IVF as we have pictures of Superbaby when he was an embryo, before implantation. "Regular" pregnancies don't get that. Ah one of the perks of the struggle.<br />
<br />
So it's late here. I am off to bed, promise to post more often. I may reward you with a picture again soon, one of thousands it's insane. Peace. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

It's my first and damn it feels good. So.good.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I know this day can suck for alot of us, I remember. Don't give up, it can happen for you. If you have implantation issues, I cannot stress enough immune testing. I really believe that my testing and subsequent medications are what allowed Superbaby to happen. Its a long road and IF is a mean bitch, but we have to keep fighting. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Superbaby is now 6 1/2 months old. Man time is flyin! It seems once he hit that 6 month mark so many things changed. His hair started growing, he rolls around like a madman, he's an eatin' fool and just growing up fast. He fits most of his 6-9 months clothes now, with some of the pants being a bit long, but tops fit perfectly.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He is almost sitting up on his own, he still needs our hands on his back, but he's almost got it. He is trying to crawl when on his tummy, but still not moving much, its close though I know it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">While our friends were visiting from the US we went to Dahab and Sharm El Sheikh. Superbaby did good, a long, very long car ride but he really good. Slept alot, fussed some but overall good. We laughed and said he probably thought the car was our new home as we were in it so much.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">When we left Dahab it was on a Friday about 6am. We ended up in Alexandria the same night at 9pm. We drove from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean in a day. We went from Dahab to St. Catherines Monestary, to Suez, to Port Said, to Damietta to Alexandria and a few other little towns along the way. It was a great road trip and our friends enjoyed it so much.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Super S said Superbaby wants to take me to Alexandria tomorrow for Mother's Day. We'll leave early, as its about a 3 hour drive, spend the day there, have dinner and maybe drive back home. Or maybe stay over night too, we'll see.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I suck at blogging now, I know. Superbaby occupies every second and I love it! We hold him waaay too much, by choice, and try to keep him busy and occupied all the time. He is napping now so I thought I'd post this lame update.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Enjoy your day, Mother or not, I know its tough and I feel you. I will never forget. Remember I am still infertile and always be.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br />

I'm excited as they are bringing a package from my Dad that has some really cute stuff for Superbaby I bought online. It'll be nice to see them too LOL.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So Superbaby found his toes and every time I change him, or he is laying down his foot goes into his mouth. Not only does it go in, but he sucks his toes like they are his pacifier! Its too funny and so cute as you see below.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="240" r6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNI6dVI6W9qxQolK_qXktAz5rwe_IddP2SzASdVCPxxqCAIIbCZQJ4sKcjkornMXqYrMVD9XKkH2d6BGiJajQoZRbkAR3VaqBtwsysqiHrhTBqL9YyjJH3F2ST9kXcsD60JE1l/s320/4-13-11+%25281%2529.JPG" width="320" /></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Hard to believe he will be 6 months old next week. I look at him and see so much wisdom, yes I see it already. I think he is going to be like Super S in so many ways. A thinker, an observer, intelligent and wise. He is always quiet when we are out like he is really studying things not just looking like a baby does. My wise little man, keep eating them toes!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So I may not be posting too much for the next week, like I am now LOL, as we'll be busy with guests and travelling around Egypt too. We will go to Alexandria for the day and then to our beloved Dahab of course for a few days. We are so excited to take Superbaby there. I remember how much we've talked about him there and daydreamed of him being there with us. Last year during my 2ww we were there, I etched his name in the sand.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Here's a Thursday question for you... if you were successful at IVF and and it brought you your miracle, would you try again? Either by using embryos that you have on ice or starting a completely new cycle? Or are you just thankful and don't want to put yourself through the pain and agony again? Then again it could bring you yet another miracle, or not.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Have a great weekend. xoxo</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br />

We were there actually to pick up a paper and thought we'd be in and out LOLLLL. You go to one window, they send you to another and another. You have to go to yet another window to buy little stamps to stick on your papers, just crazy.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">As Super S was running around getting the needed stamps to put on our paperwork, I sat with Superbaby and waited. A nice young Egyptian girl started talking to me and playing with Superbaby. We talked about Egypt's future and the state of the "<em>midan</em>" Tahrir Square.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">When we drove into dowtown, we planned on parking in the underground parking in Tahrir Square next to the Mogamma Building. Tahrir Square was blocked off, closed to traffic. Now we had the problem of where to park the car? There is not much parking in downtown but we lucked out and found some space under a bridge.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Here's what we saw as we walked to Tahrir Sqaure...</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I went out for an hour the other night, Superbaby stayed home with Super S. They had fun, no fussing, he didn't cry all was good. I called many times to check on him of course.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So I get home, Superbaby sees me, he laughs and was shaking around so excited then started balling, I mean crying his eyes out. I held him and he hugged my neck so hard, made me cry.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Now did he really MISS me or was it a shock like after not seeing me for an hour. Don't know but I think he missed me and loves me so much. It was so cute and so emotional.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He is great. Can't believe that this month he will be 6 months old. The other day he wore a 6 month outfit for the first time and it fit good, the pants were just alittle long.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Superbaby has a hell of a grip. He recently starting squeezing my neck, my face and pulling the back of my head. He wants to eat everything and is teething alot now. Anything he can get his hands on, it goes in his mouth.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We'll be visiting the doctor later this month for 6 month immunizations and a check up. I'm curious to see how much he's gained.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He eats rice cereal twice a day, small amounts like two baby spoons and he loves it. My milk supply has not been affected at all. He still breast feeds as he did before so its working out good. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I boiled carrots and pureed them, thought lets see.... his face was like wtf is this? Where's my cereal! I give him a baby spoon each day though and takes it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Today I had a lumpy mass in my left breast. Didn't hurt while nursing but tender when I touched it. After I fed Superbaby it went away. Could it have been a milk duct that was blocked and then it got unblocked? I don't know but its gone thank God.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We are still nursing like every 2-2.5 hours. It's fine for me, I just hope he is gaining like he should. He sure feels like he is, we'll see.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Laughing has increased and his facial expressions are priceless. His talking has picked up alot too. I swear he said Mommy the other day. He is just amazing. Completely amazing.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Ever since he came home from the hospital I have been talking to him. About anything and everything. I mean I really talk to him. Never know what he takes in. I also have been singing him the ABC's since he was a day old. Super S and I joke about it as I sing it so damn much. We say when Superbaby has friends over I'll come out and start singing the ABC's and he'll be like "come on Mom...." But I bet, no I guarantee he will so know how to sing that song.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So thats my all over the place, non-flowing post for today. Its after midnight here and I am off to bed.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Not familiar with this movie starring Clive Owen, you can read about <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0206634/">here</a>.<br />
<br />
I remember it being on here before and I was in the middle of an IVF cycle. I watched it not knowing what it was about and I was like sweet. There was only one woman on Earth who was pregnant, and all that infertility was too much at the time to handle.<br />
<br />
And no, I did not watch it tonight. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

All the pants I have for him are too long. That’s why I rock the onesies on top sometimes, to me they look cute. Not all outfits look “right” this way, but I have a few that do. I started putting his little shoes on sometimes when we go out, OMG waaay too cute! Boots, sneakers, its more fun for me than anyone. Superbaby could care less, so I have the fun for now.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He uses his hands a lot. He started holding up his hands and twisting them around sort of, just looks at them. When he does this I say “take me to your leader”, like he is sending communications to someone. His grip is getting better and he’s still rolling over just half way. His neck muscles are alot stronger too. And he laughs... boy is this kid happy!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Super S’s aunt was here the other day and she said we are crazy. Crazy in a good way, <em>I hope</em>. We always act and talk silly, dance and do stupid things with Superbaby and she got a kick out of it. I assume all parents do this, don't they?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Yesterday we bought him a walker. It has lights, music and turns into a rocker. Lots of fun dials and shift knobs, a speedometer like a car kind of. When we got home I put him in it and he was leaning his head over trying to eat the dials and buttons, LOL. So it may be alittle early for him. Super S pushed him around in it and was smiling, his sly smile. Probably thinking "what the hell is this thing guys?"</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I started giving Superbaby a small spoon of rice cereal and a small spoon of yogurt every other day. He loves it! We tried some bananas from Gerber, not happenin'. Fresh will be better I think, but will wait until next month to try again.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He is breastfeeding almost every 2 hours. I read alot of babies at his age feed every 3-4 hours? I know all babies are different, but do you think I should be supplementing at all? Maybe more cereal? He seems to be gaining weight just fine though.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">When we got back to Cairo we had to get Superbaby the BCG vaccine for tuberculosis, as they no longer give in the US, but it is required here in Egypt. It was given in his upper left arm. He has a raised bump there now, looks terrible really. It is normal and they say painless but man it looks awful. It is suppose to go away by one year old, we'll see. Every time he takes a bath I look at it and feel like it hurts him but have to remind myself it doesn't.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Superbaby is so observant. He takes in everything all the time. I mean he really seems like he is studying everything, always. He is so quiet when we go for walks whether he’s in his stroller or in the Lascal carrier. He just looks around and is so content. Like I said before, a genius in the making!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Have a great weekend!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Still hard to believe that he's really here. I think I'll feel this way all his life and will never forget what it took for him to get here. He too will know what a special gift he is and his long journey to us once he's older. Maybe he'll say, "Does that make me an IVF-er too Mom?" Yes baby it does.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So milestones.... he is almost rolling over, he turns all the way to one side then flips back, that complete roll is just around the corner. Then yesterday and today we had him on his tummy, he rolled to his side and then onto his back, woo hoo.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He's holding his head up pretty well. He sits with our assistance and when we put him in the Bumbo chair his head is not shaking as much as it was last week, it’s pretty steady. I think in a few weeks he will sit holding his head up alone, we'll see.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The sounds he makes are changing... from you know that gah gah gah baby sound to more like he is trying to form "real" sounds. The other day he was lying down and instead of the usual crying/fussing to be picked up, he was like calling me, not crying but making loud, long sounds I loved it!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He laughs real laughs now. Super S really makes him laugh with silly mouth gestures and talking its so cute! His whole face smiles, not just his mouth but really his whole face shines when he smiles.... the best smile is that morning smile, once he focuses and sees us that first smile is worth more than anything in the world! Do babies usually smile this much? He is so damn happy all the time its awesome!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He may be teething, I think. I thought at first it was just hand eating and exploring... I give him teething beads and he chomps down on those suckers hard. He has starting being a bit fussy too, he turns his Soothie to the side and bites on it too. I read babies can start teething as early as four months even though the first tooth doesn't come in until about 6 months.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He started raising his hands up while he's on his back, like stretches them out to me and I put them in my mouth, he laughs and laughs. He also grabs my face with one hand and puts the other in my mouth.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Superbaby still sleeps with us, in our bed. Not using his co sleeper bed though as he's too big now. So where does he sleep... between us. Yup danger and all he sleeps between Super S and I and its awesome! We have a great system and have not rolled on him. If you thinks this sucks, that’s cool but we love it and it totally works for us.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">He naps really well. I wouldn't say we have developed a schedule exactly, but he sleeps through the night. He eats when he wants, works out to be about every 2-3 hours and seems to be extremely happy. The reflux has passed, stopped having the bouts just before he hit 4 months. I give him what I call his herbal elixir every night. It’s a powder I mix with 50ml of water and it contains anise, chamomile, liquorice, and a few other yummy ingredients he loves it! He holds his bottle while drinking and even tilts it when he gets to the end.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Funny thing happen, about 3 weeks ago I tried to give him formula before bed. He is exclusively breastfed, but I had some formula from hospital and I thought I will try and see if he likes it, I will give him a bottle before bed and I only had a few to get rid of so I thought why not. The reason I had the formula, when we went home from hospital Superbaby lost weight so I had to supplement for a few days and of course I had so many sample cans from them too. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Anyway, you should have seen his face when I tried to give it to him, one suck and he was like wtf is this lemon or what? I know when babies taste something for the first time they make a face, but this was different, he did not like it at all. I tasted it and it was nasty as hell, I so don't blame him. God Willing my milk stays around.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We got his 4 month immunizations the other day. All the same shots as if we were in the States but the one for Polio was oral drops; I think in the US it’s an injection? He did great, a little crying, slept afterwards and was sort of fussy the rest of the night but the next day all good.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The other day we went to Toys R Us in Cairo (located in Roxy in case any people reading live here and want to know) for the first time. I must say I was impressed. The store was huge (which is not usual here, all shops are so small do to space) and they really had a great selection comparable to back home. One side was even a Babies R Us and had tons of stuff too. They had a really cool Stroller, which we don't need, but it looked awesome. It’s called Symbio by Graco. I wondered why I had not seen in my EXHAUSTIVE stroller search when we were in the States and I think this is only available in Europe and this region now. I'm still super thrilled with our purchase though (The First Years Wave), Superbaby sleeps the best in this stroller while in bassinet mode, but I bet for not much longer though as he's growing.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Here's something fun, I have Plantar Fasciitis. Sounds like its a fatal disease or at least some scary shit huh, but no, it’s like a heel spur and man is it painful! Good news is that it should go away or at least the pain will subside by doing these stretching exercises.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So life here with my Super’s is good. I can't wait until Superbaby can hug and us and kiss us and tell us he loves us, but it’s that first hug I’m waiting for...</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

We have tried several brands and they all bite. But being the hot dog fan that I am the last time we went shopping I bought a package of hot dogs that we had before, they sucked too, but they were edible once I boiled and fried the hell out of them.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So tonight we get home from being out all day, needed something quick and I thought why not a nutritious nitrate laden dog.....</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">What the ..... this is a hot dog? It was a lamb dog! I swear to God it tasted like BBQ lamb! Now look at the package ingredients...</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp_JfQYJbeXRX2n70N_JMIMUKFqbLpcTFMRgyaRX5ecRsvnkNv7tbaxVp3Tn7ooc9uRaNIl81eO-JeJ4r4KsN2Pds-dCW53ts6bqlplR652mi2k86-z2RZ3wDtYHc9Xq5WRo9-/s1600/STA60015.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" h5="true" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp_JfQYJbeXRX2n70N_JMIMUKFqbLpcTFMRgyaRX5ecRsvnkNv7tbaxVp3Tn7ooc9uRaNIl81eO-JeJ4r4KsN2Pds-dCW53ts6bqlplR652mi2k86-z2RZ3wDtYHc9Xq5WRo9-/s320/STA60015.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
No where does it say lamb, but I say it was so not beef. But hey it had vitamin C. After taking one bite, I rinsed off the ketchup and mustard, chopped up and will give to the cats tomorrow.<br />
<br />
Superbaby will be 16 weeks this Friday, time is flying. He is doing great and just getting cuter each day man I swear. <br />
<br />
He is trying to eat his fists these days. He does use a pacifier, a <a href="http://www.amazon.com/First-Years-Newborn-Pacifiers-Pack/dp/B000LM2R44/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1297279722&sr=8-4">Soothie</a> and despite the fact that he loves his wubby he always wants his fists and my fingers sometimes too. I swear if he was older I would think he's teething.<br />
<br />
But then of course I searched it, as I do with everything and read about <a href="http://pediatrics.about.com/od/weeklyquestion/a/04_pacifiers.htm">non-nutritive sucking</a>. So he is being completely normal. Cool.<br />
<br />
As you probably know, protests are still going strong here in Egypt's in Tahrir Square. I don't think the people are going to stop until their president leaves.<br />
<br />
But life outside the Square seems to be getting back to normal, alittle bit anyway. We were out today and people were shopping and doing business although many placea are still not open. The army tanks are still on the streets and it really feels weird.<br />
<br />
Yesterday we took pictures of Superbaby next to an army tank where we live..... we'll tell him about this when he grows up.<br />
