Twitter Blocked and Protests

So here it is the first time I feel I am the recipient of censorship. Twitter is blocked in Egypt due to public protests. While I don't tweet that often, I have recently been playing around on Twitter again. I go to sign in today and sure enough no access.

Then yesterday alot of protests in Cairo and Alexandria. We didn't even know until we had CNN on. Where we live is far from dowtown and we also don't watch much local tv.

Super S was actually on his way to Alexandria this morning for business and decided he should delay trip until we know if roads are clear/open or not due to protests.

I have not heard from my Mother yet but know she is worried. Even though all this does not directly affect us, she will worry nonetheless. I'm sure I'll get an email today LOL.

You know our mornings are amazing. Superbaby always wakes up smiling and laughing, what else do we need? Not a thing man, not a thing.

Lets hope this crazy world gone mad improves someday soon.

  3. How frightening to be in an area undergoing political unrest like that - and a government response of censorship makes it all the more scary. Hope things settle down soon...
