As a cat-related aside, I remember being totally intimidated by the street cats in Cairo - they had these huge heads, different from the street cats we see here, and were quite menacing looking in a way.
Those pictures made me sit up and stretch, they almost refreshed me without my own rest. Cool! How are the babies? My kitty is getting old, she's 16/17 now. If I don't see her for a couple of hours I get worried. She scratched the crud out of my furniture but I love her anyway.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE comments! To me its like getting a present from a mystery person, ok well some of you are not such a mystery anymore... but u feel me. You can subscribe to my updates via email or in your feeder of choice. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Married in 1996. Waited two years to start our family (yeah let’s wait 2 years, then let the kids come…). We kept trying on our own, without intervention until 2006. Crazy, maybe but we kept thinking it would happen. First and only pregnancy Jan 2006, was tubal, right fallopian tube removed. ( I did not know I was 6 weeks pregnant). First IVF May 2006, fresh cycle failed. Two more IVF trials and FET transfers later all failed. So we're tryin' again... 5th transfer is a charm- no it failed too, chemical pregnancy. We tried a 6th FET hoping it was "the charm", it wasn't, NEGATIVE on 12-23-08. Doctor thought a good idea to remove my one remaining fallopian tube, had it ligated January 2009. Finished our 7th ET in June 2009, we were hoping that as my tube issue was gone this was going to be the one... wrong again, low first beta of 24 then down to 2.5. November 2009 I did some immune testing. Planning IVF number 4 in January 2010 with some tweaks, a different protocol and maybe some meds to target immune issues. This blog was started as my IVF journey, but it’s outta control…so along with my IVF stories expect to read almost anything.
