Show and Tell - Florenzo's New friend

Be sure to check out what everyone is doing for Show and Tell today. Many, many thanks to Lollipop Goldstein for all her brillance! What did we do before she arrived in blogland???

So today i want to share with you about our baby Florenzo. Florenzo has a new friend.

This new little girl came around yesterday for the first time and is back again as I type this. She's really cute, strange captivating eyes, gray black striped coloring and she meows constantly.

Poor Florenzo yesterday, this little one comes in eats his food, drinks his water, went in his house and was acting like she took over the place.

Its cute to see them together, they hiss a little and spat paws but it doesn't seem like they are fighting really.

Okay so Florenzo is a boy and lets say she's a girl, isn't she too young for eh um, you know? I am a first time pet owner and don't really know much about cats yet.... so what's going on, just play or does Florenzo have other intentions?

  1. She's adorable.

Get one of them (or even better, BOTH of them) "fixed", pronto! Cats ALWAYS have other intentions.

  2. ditto to Queenie's comment!! As much as kittens are gorgeous, you don't want to be asking friends and family yet again if they'd like a kitten!!

    Great photos by the way!

  3. I agree with queenie and sam - cats breed like whoa. :) My mom had two cats that she thought were both boys. Those suckers were like gremlins; after 8 months, those two had somehow multiplied to almost 10.

She's a cutie! She reminds me of that little cat that would always come around and annoy Garfield. I can't think of her name, but she was grey, too!

  4. I know nothing about cats, but if one of them is a male- don't they always have sex on their minds?

They look pretty cute together though!

  5. So cute! The friend looks alot like our cat! They look so cute together--but, have to agree w/everyone else--they probably are thinking some nasty thoughts!

  6. She is soooo cute! We had a male and female (half-siblings) and even though they were both fixed, the male would still hump his half-sister!

Yep get one of them fixed. The male will be easier. A female can have her first estrus at 6 months or less and to be pregnant at that young age is dangerous for mother and kittens is dangerous

  12. Great pictures of the kitties. The little one is so cute, and Florenzo is beautiful!

I agree that you should get one or both of them fixed. They always seem to have sex on their minds.

  13. They look like instant buddies and she seems to have made herself at home very quickly. LOL.

I agree though that at least one of them should be fixed ASAP or you will have a whole litter in no time. (:

Have fun with them both. They are adorable.

  15. His new friend is so pretty! Um, his intentions might depend on whether or not he's fixed?

  16. It's so sweet that he has a friend. Or a more-than-just-a-friend.

  17. I don't think that ladies go into heat yet--altho I'm not sure. You'd KNOW if she were in heat b/c she'd be yowling and trying to hump everything.

  20. She's beautiful! She could be too young, but then again, as long as she's at least 6 months old... the inentions are there! And Florenzo is too cute too! His coloring is really pretty.

And yes, to answer the question in your comment on my blog, the bucket was well and truly dead. Even had it not been when the fire went out, they continued to through things in it afterwards! Men... who act like boys! It's so much fun sometimes! lol

  24. Florenzo is a good name adaptation! Instead of your cats, I was noticing how pretty your porch is! Or patio..whichever. Thanks for stopping over. I promise to post an audio file of our group, but I am NO expert player. Don't hold me to high expectations!!!

  26. sooo cute! Those two look like good buddies. But did you know (little fact here) that almost every single time a cat mates, it results in a pregnancy? Hope your boy is fixed. ;) And isn't it too bad we're not somewhat like cats in this way? Sigh.
