Woke up to this in my inbox, great way to start the day!!
Today Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's trying to find a companion.
Before you complain about your children -Think of someone who desires children but they can't have them.
Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and thank GOD that you woke up today.

ReplyDeleteThanks for passing it on.
Hi!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I love the message from this post. It so true--and so easy to forget to take a minute and appreciate what we have. I look forward to reading more of your blog--take care!
Thanks for sharing this. Such a great message.
ReplyDeleteOuch- but at least us (infertiles) were actually recognized today. It's not often that happens!
ReplyDeleteThat's surprisingly how I live my life. Cool to see it in print.
ReplyDeleteI am printing this out & putting it next to my bed...right next to the...well nevermind.
ReplyDeleteI do like it though...reality checks are necessary every now & then! :)
Yay. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, found your blog through Jill's, my name is Emiy. I am struggling with infertility as well. I am starting injectables with IUI after almost 2 years of infertility issues. What a great thing to post when it seems that we have tunnel vision when going through infertility, we still have so much to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI love this! Reminds me of a quote I keep posted on my desk at work:
ReplyDelete"I had the blues because I had no shoes... until upon the street I saw a man with no feet."
Why is it so hard to appreciate all the blessings I have in my life? Someday, I hope I'll get there.
